Before my first lip filler booking, what I'd want sorted

Three things before I'd book a first lip filler: a goal I can say in one sentence, an injector I've actually checked, and a rough idea of the risks. Everything else can wait for the consult.

On amount, I'd be careful with anyone online quoting one starting dose for everybody. There isn't a universal one. Ask what they'd start with for your lips and why.

What else I'd get before leaving the clinic:

• written aftercare, not just a verbal "ice it"
• which symptoms mean call straight away
• what removal can and can't do if I don't like it
• what follow-up costs, if anything
